Diameter in engine pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance . On the other hand reductant injection air pump control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
04839 Possible Causes:
04839 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04839 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
