The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting or change data bus powertrain, implausible message of the airbag control module will delay your vw fault. |
04838 Possible Causes:
04838 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04838 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel sensor sensor (g410), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
