When you open oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
04837 Possible Causes:
04837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04837 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
