04837 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle actuator control system, forced idle or change data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 is the final reason of the code. |
04837 Possible Causes:
04837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04837 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
