The problem is about exhaust gas recirculation system performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely and friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
04835 Possible Causes:
04835 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 04835 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
