Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open also kick down switch malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
04822 Possible Causes:
04822 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04822 Code
- Inspect all the connections auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
