When you open particulate trap bank 1, efficiency below threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu or change fuel level sensor 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04818 Possible Causes:
04818 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 04818 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
