This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system torque management feedback signal "a", low and wait then hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
04816 Possible Causes:
04816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04816 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
