This something to do with the intake camshaft timing camshaft position signal output, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open and wait then o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1 will delay your vw fault. |
04805 Possible Causes:
04805 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04805 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
