This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low or change evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
04804 Possible Causes:
04804 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 04804 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
