The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant pump control, circuit range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump or exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity is the final reason of the code. |
04804 Possible Causes:
04804 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04804 Code
- Inspect all the connections rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
