When you open data bus powertrain, no communication mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low and wait then diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
04801 Possible Causes:
04801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04801 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
