The problem is about throttle actuator control system, forced idle mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit or throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
04801 Possible Causes:
04801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04801 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
