048 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start water in fuel sensor, circuit or change system too lean at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
048 Possible Causes:
048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 048 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
