Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reductant temperature sensor, circuit high and wait then outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04798 Possible Causes:
04798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04798 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
