04797 Possible Causes:
04797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04797 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
