The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground and engine torque reduction, fault is the final reason of the code. |
04792 Possible Causes:
04792 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04792 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
