When you open kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition switch run position, circuit high and reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
04789 Possible Causes:
04789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04789 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
