This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic also hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high is the final reason of the code. |
04779 Possible Causes:
04779 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04779 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pressure, adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
