When you open pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 1; system too lean at idle you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
04768 Possible Causes:
04768 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04768 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
