The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start generator shut-off, open or short to ground or exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
04766 Possible Causes:
04766 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04766 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift up/down wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
