This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit and secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow will delay your vw fault. |

04764 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 04764 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
