Accumulated in electronic control units so pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system internal control module: eeprom error or intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
04748 Possible Causes:
04748 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04748 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
