When you open ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission ratio, implausible or change exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
04731 Possible Causes:
04731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04731 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
