Accumulated in electronic control units so o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit and water in fuel sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

04721 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04721 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
