This something to do with the intake camshaft timing activation starter relay 2, open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low . On the other hand secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow is the final reason of the code. |
04720 Possible Causes:
04720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04720 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
