When you open transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, implausible you can see the fuel pump, electronics faulty is the final reason of the code. |

04716 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04716 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
