The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so signal for back-up lights, short to ground or intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

04714 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 04714 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
