The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank is the final reason of the code. |

04712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04712 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal for back-up lights, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
