The problem is about intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 12 above knock threshold you can see the ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
04711 Possible Causes:
04711 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 04711 Code
- Inspect all the connections temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
