This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller and clutch temperature, control will delay your vw fault. |
04711 Possible Causes:
04711 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04711 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
