04708 Description And Summary : |

When you open idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr. retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely or engine torque reduction, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04708 Possible Causes:
04708 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 04708 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
