The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low and glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
047 Possible Causes:
047 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 047 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
