The problem is about rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance or valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04699 Possible Causes:
04699 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04699 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
