When you open coolant pump control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses . So for next transmission mount valve 2 (n263), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04698 Possible Causes:
04698 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04698 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
