Diameter in engine intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
04696 Possible Causes:
04696 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04696 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
