This code were stamped on VW Engine case relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high also fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit is the final reason of the code. |

04685 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit
