When you open mil control circuit, open / short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 and wait then exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
04681 Possible Causes:
04681 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 04681 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
