This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of transmission ecu or vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster is the final reason of the code. |
04679 Possible Causes:
04679 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04679 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
