The problem is about data-bus powertrain, hardware defective the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles charging system, voltage high and data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) is the final reason of the code. |
04676 Possible Causes:
04676 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04676 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
