The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match it can suddenly lead to a significantly more shift up/down wire, short to b+ or change exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
04671 Possible Causes:
04671 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04671 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
