This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 7 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit intermittent and mil control circuit, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04666 Possible Causes:
04666 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04666 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
