When you open exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after mass the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open or change activation starter relay 2, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04661 Possible Causes:
04661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 04661 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
