When you open exhaust gas recirculation system performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 . On the other hand data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer is the final reason of the code. |
04661 Possible Causes:
04661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04661 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
