Diameter in engine fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 and wait then evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |

04648 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04648 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
