This something to do with the intake camshaft timing internal control module, driver error causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner control, regulation deviation or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04643 Possible Causes:
04643 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04643 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
