04641 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground also valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
04641 Possible Causes:
04641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04641 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
