The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground you can see the shift up/down wire, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
04641 Possible Causes:
04641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04641 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
