Diagnosing engine bar with nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04638 Possible Causes:
04638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04638 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
