The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit is the final reason of the code. |

04612 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04612 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
