This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance or pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
04611 Possible Causes:
04611 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04611 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of airbag ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
