04606 Description And Summary : |

When you open outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+ or motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
04606 Possible Causes:
04606 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04606 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
