04600 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic or activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
04600 Possible Causes:
04600 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 04600 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
