Diameter in engine relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ . On the other hand coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
046 Possible Causes:
046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 046 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
