The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit / open or exhaust pressure sensor is the final reason of the code. |
04579 Possible Causes:
04579 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04579 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
