The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault torque management feedback signal "b", high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high and wait then ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
04554 Possible Causes:
04554 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04554 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
